About IsraClinic

IsraClinic is a private expert psychiatric clinic based in Tel Aviv, providing in-person and online consultations for patients in Israel and internationally. The clinic works in Russian, English, and Hebrew, and specialises in complex diagnostics and individualised psychiatric treatment delivered by a multidisciplinary clinical team.

The Psychoergonomic Method

At the core of IsraClinic's clinical work is the Psychoergonomic Method — an original clinical methodology in psychiatry developed by Valery Kravitz, founder and director of the clinic. The method was developed between 2006 and 2016 and has been continuously applied in clinical practice since 2016.

The concept underlying the method draws on a long intellectual tradition: the study of proportion, harmony, and the relationship between a human being and their environment — from the architectural principles of Vitruvius and Leonardo da Vinci's Vitruvian Man to the modern science of ergonomics. In the 20th century, ergonomics formalised the principle of adapting conditions to the specific characteristics of the individual. At IsraClinic, this principle has been extended into psychiatry.

Psychoergonomics applies this logic to mental health: each patient is understood not as a diagnostic category, but as an individual with a specific psychological structure, neurobiological profile, lifestyle, and social context. The goal of treatment is not merely symptom reduction, but the restoration of functioning, internal balance, and quality of life — through a strictly individualised and comprehensive clinical plan.

The methodological framework has been formally published and is available with a permanent academic reference: Zenodo, DOI: 10.5281/zenodo.18588122.

Diagnostics and Treatment

All treatment at IsraClinic begins with a comprehensive diagnostic assessment. Clinic specialists conduct a structured multi-stage evaluation — physical, neurological, psychological, psychotherapeutic, and psychiatric. Medical history is collected in depth: not only the clinical record, but also the patient's lifestyle, family dynamics, social roles, professional environment, and personal goals.

Based on this assessment, an individual treatment plan is developed collegially by the clinical team. Treatment includes only those components that are clinically indicated for the specific patient. Depending on the case, the plan may incorporate psychiatric consultation and pharmacotherapy, individually selected psychotherapy, biofeedback, art therapy, music therapy, sports therapy, hippotherapy, hydrotherapy, or bibliotherapy.

All specialists involved in a patient's care work in close cooperation, regularly reviewing clinical dynamics and adjusting the plan as the patient's condition evolves.

The Treatment Environment

Treatment at IsraClinic is conducted primarily on an outpatient basis. The clinic environment is deliberately designed to feel calm and non-institutional — without hospital wards or white coats. Patients receiving in-person treatment at the Tel Aviv clinic can expect a comfortable, private, and professionally structured setting.

For patients outside Israel, IsraClinic offers secure online consultations across all clinical directions: psychiatry, psychotherapy, and diagnostic services.

Over ten years of systematic clinical application (2016–2026), the Psychoergonomic Method has demonstrated clinical stability, reproducibility, and consistent results in complex psychiatric cases.
